Sometimes we need to admit we blew it in order to move on.

I related deeply with the following story as my German grandma lived with us back in the mid-west.
We planted a big garden every year and grandma & my mother canned, pickled and made jelly for the cold winter.
They even made lye soap in the backyard.
Those were wonderful times!
