PanaMark

PanaMark the Demo Farm is the first Eco-Learning Center & Organic Seed Bank in conjunction with EcoREIClub.com.

This is our landmark demo facility that is happening in the Central American archipelago tropical paradise of Bocas Del Toro, on Isla Colon in Panama.

This 10 acre site is designed with eco-friendly Eco-Camp sites surrounding a one-of-a-kind learning center that is simply beyond your wildest imagination.

Jungle houses & campsites powered by solar & bio-diesel that happens to be grown in aquaculture ponds & processed right on site!

Tropical rain-forest canopy tree platforms, zip lines over the tops of the gardens & even the orchards.

The climate controlled seed bank where heirloom seeds and old strains will be preserved, shared and exchanged for generations to come is a testimonial to “old school rules.” This is just one of many seed banks and the seeds will be propagated on this and other sites around the world.

The Bali-Style floating Octagon Ki Energy Conference Center is the beacon of hope in this archipelago chain of islands and the rest of world.

Unique covered boat docks will create a safe-haven for sight-seeing, fishing & diving excursions and the Ki Center will be serving up very cool tropical jungle dining experiences with the local catch of the day & fresh picked tropical fruit drinks too.

Culinary Consciousness Lectures, seminars and retreats for the seasoned and wana bee Chefs by Chefs from around world, learning to eat right will never be the same again!

Are you up for the challenge?

Are you the survivor island kind of modern day hippie that we are looking for?

If you have an ounce of rebel left in you, then you are invited to a special webinar presentation about our project and how you can qualify to participate.

Please send an email to david@ecoreiclub.com for more details about our webinars.

Sowing and Reaping

You must get good at one of two things: sowing in the spring or begging in the fall.

God has the tough end of the deal.

What if instead of planting the seed you had to make the tree?

That would keep you up late at night, trying to figure that one out, huh?

Plant, don’t chant.

One of my good friends says, “Things don’t just happen; things happen just.”

The soil says, “Don’t bring me your need… bring me your seed.”

For the more back to nature enthusiasts there are acres and acres of the most lush gardens and fields on earth. Nature trails like none other wind through plantings of heirloom and exotic botanicals that are being propagated to preserve the original strands of some of the most diverse edible and medicinal plants on earth.

Where else on earth can you plant some seeds on your vacation and return a few months later and harvest your crop and have the chefs prepare a meal specially planted and harvested by you?

There are meditation, yoga and several other spiritually enlightening events happening throughout the day around the property.

These are just a few of the unique experiences that make the Eco-Resort & Seed Farm the most user friendly and interactive destinations on earth.

Panamark…

“When I arrived in Bocas de Toro over seven years ago I was immediately impressed with what I had discovered, as a Floridian I couldn’t help noticing the similar feel of Key West. Sitting at an over the water restaurant watching the water taxis shuttling their passengers made up of surfers, backpackers, local Indians and tourists it felt like I had stepped into a Randy Wayne White novel. Since then I have watched Bocas receive accolades from all corners of the planet while simultaneously going through its growing pains. 100 years prior the banana and cocoa business was booming and gave the quaint Bocas Town the charm that exist today”……….

Let’s Get Cooking!

Master Chef Gardens of the World Tour

The project involves taking my vision of an organic seed bank and with this phase of the project, a traveling organic seed bank, combined with renowned international chefs preparing local seasonal dishes using locally grown produce.

In phase one, David Waggoner a master chef instructor at the La Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy that has been a chef for 28 years and practices seasonal local cooking. He knows the top chefs in that culinary academy from the schools around the world.

We are filming Chef Waggoner now and will add seasonal cooking shows throughout the year as well as regional harvest festivals and events with chefs we know from around the world.

Some of the first we did are posted here on YouTube.

http://www.youtube.com/user/ChefWaggoner#play/uploads

We will collect seeds and recipes from local farmers and CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) that will be added to the seed bank and propagated through various partnerships with seed farmers that we are involved with.

We will trace the history of the seeds to the harvest and then have the chef prepare a meal using those ingredients.

Heirloom gardening tricks and techniques will be shown so people learn how to raise organic produce in their own backyard chef’s garden.

Online Seasonal Chef cooking classes will be sold along with DVDs, catering, recipe guides and monthly online memberships.

Once a quarter we will have a seasonal on location cooking and harvest presentation from a region around the world using locally grown produce and feature their local harvest festivals.

Our venue will include guest chefs from around the world, featured guest chefs that are interviewed for the show and then tour the local community gardens and farmer’s markets for the local seasonal harvest and seed saving from the Chef’s Master Gardens of the World Tour.

We have many connections around the country that are very interested in contributing to this project as well as potential sponsorships from kitchen supply companies, universities, travel agencies, organic farms and heirloom seed-saver groups.

We will travel with a small and professional film crew to film the pilot and several shows in the series that will be shopped to the various travel, cooking and educational channels for syndication.

This initial phase of traveling the key cities of the world and visiting with the local organic and sustainable farmers and the ecologically conscientious master chefs will see first hand where the most work is needed as well as where help is available. This phase will serve as a kind of exploratory phase.

The timing is perfect for getting involved with our projects to help restore the planet and the people on it!
